Sarah believes that human connection is imperative in healing and she has the unique gift of connecting with people of various ages and backgrounds. The combination of her warm, empathetic, non-judgmental approach and extensive training lead her clients to heal efficiently and effectively.
Sarah uses a highly personalized approach and tailors treatment to each individual while utilizing evidence based treatment. She has specialized training in EMDR and Sandtray Therapy and has successfully treated adults and adolescents who experience anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, loss/grief, family conflict, and unresolved trauma. A special population Sarah works with are those suffering from autoimmune disorders and chronic health conditions including thyroid disorders, PCOS and endometriosis. Sarah provides a safe and nurturing space for people to process the many losses, medical trauma, and depression that can come with chronic illness. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She’s received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Sand Tray Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). |
